Radiesse Filler

Fillers and Facts:

Radiesse

Keeping up with various fillers formulas can be an important step in making sure you’re getting the treatment you need for the face you want. With so many options available, it’s important to stay informed on how each treatment works, and how it differs from other similar products on the market. Radiesse is an example of such a treatment.

Radiesse

Radiesse is an injectable filler that stimulates collagen production to plump naturally occurring wrinkles and folds in the skin, generally in and around the face.

Radiesse, like Restylane, is ideal for treatment around the nose and mouth, but can be used for treatment to reduce wrinkles in hands as well.

Radiesse is made with calcium hydroxylapatite: a nontoxic, non-allergenic compound that is naturally occurring in the body, and as such is compatible with the body’s natural tissues.

Uses for Radiesse

Although Radiesse can be used anywhere in the body (including buttocks, abdomen, thighs, knees, and arms) for added volume/reduced wrinkles, Radiesse is most commonly used in facial procedures.

Possible uses for Radiesse include:

  • adding volume to sunken or sagging temples
  • non invasive nose-reshaping
  • lifting, volumizing, and sculpting cheeks
  • smoothing away smile lines found around the nose and mouth
  • defining and shaping the jawline
  • smoothing the long lines around the mouth and chin, often dubbed “marionette lines”.

Cost of Radiesse

While of course the cost of a Radiesse treatment will depend on a number of factors, the cost of 1 Radiesse syringe averages between $650-$800. Depending on the size and depth of treatment needed, treatments generally take between 1-4 syringes of product.

Why Radiesse?

With Radiesse, you can expect to see results immediately after walking out of the clinic, and within a week the treatment will have reached its full development which can be expected to last up to two years.

Because Radiesse acts as a collagen stimulant, rather than a traditional filler, results will last longer and are generally more effective.

Once Radiesse is injected, over time the chemical absorbs into the body, leaving just the hydroxylapatite (CaHa) particles behind. Collagen then forms around each of these small particles, which increases the overall volume of the targeted area.

Radiesse has become one of the top choices for dermal fillers for men and women alike due to its cost effectiveness, natural properties, and amazing results. Talk with your doctor to see if you think Radiesse might be the next step forward in your journey to perfect skin.
